Make a Difference
Restore Canada works with Churches, community providers and individuals to meet the needs of people in our community who are in distress. Restore utilizes Care Planners and Care Givers to help those in Halton, Stouffville, and Markham areas.
Care Planners: At Restore Canada we train people to become Care Planners. Care Planners learn how to:
~ Listen without judging
~ Find resources that will help the person in need
~ Know who you can help and who you cannot
~ Care for people while keeping healthy boundaries
~ Make a proper assessment
~ Use our RES database to record needs and plans, where resources are also listed.
~ Help people choose the options laid out before them and journey with them until they find themselves in a healthier, sustainable lifestyle.
